1. Q: I need BizTalk 2004 and/or .NET 1.1 support for QuickCounters. Can I get it? A: Download the source code, and pull it into a VSNET 2003 solution. The viewer and WCF portions will not compile under .NET 1.1, but the core QuickCounters library will work with .NET 1.1/BizTalk 2004.
  2. Q: Why do you have your own viewer? Can't I just use PerfMon? A: Perfmon will work great. Once you have, say, 20 requests across 3 servers, you have 60 interactions with the PerfMon UI. The viewer makes it trivial to retrieve large quantities of counter data from multiple machines. See screen shot below.

I'm looking into using QuickCounters.net for my .NET 1.1 application. You mention recompiling the QuickCounters.net.dll in VS 2003. What is needed from a deployment perspective once this is complete? I assume I skip using the MSI that was built for .NET 2.0 and just copy my 1.1 version of QuickCounters.net.dll to the GAC and reference the 1.1 version in my application. Is that correct?
